General
The versatile SRX815 2-way speaker by JBL is a must-have in your PA setup. It has a 15-inch woofer and it can be used in either passive or bi-amp mode. The latter means the tweeter is separated from the woofer to allow the internal crossover to do its job, which is especially handy when employing multiple speakers. The SRX815 can produce a lot of noise and boasts a maximum SPL of 135 dB. With a frequency range of 41 Hz to 20 kHz, you've got a great full-range cabinet at your disposal that provides outstanding results, especially when used with other Harman products.
On the floor, on a stand, or from the ceiling
Not only are the SRX815's technical specifications impressive, it's also a very versatile unit. You can connect it up to an amplifier or an active speaker or a subwoofer, for instance, and in terms of placement, anything is possible. Place it on a stand or on top of another speaker, on a distance rod either straight or at an angle, from the ceiling by using the three M10 rigging points, or on stage as a floor monitor. This speaker has three recessed handles for easy manageability.

Dit zijn echt monsters in de goede zin van het woord! Gaat goed laag, en is heel zuiver, en wat een vermogen. Wel aansturen met een dikke versterker, ik gebruik de crown i-tech 4000, maar kan natuurlijk ook de crown xti 6002.... Ik heb er al een paar setjes mee gedraaid en prima in b.v. sportclubs of kleine tot medium feestzaaltjes! Op buiten events zet ik ze in met STX subs (vergelijkbaar met de STX subs) maar dan net iets meer vermogen. Dan gaat het helemaal prima! De SRX815 kosten wat maar je bent gelijk klaar met een prof. set!
